Under our Medical resources, you’ll find local listings of Federal Qualified Health Clinics (FQHC) who treat the underinsured as well as individuals with no insurance.
In our Insurance section, you will discover simple how-tos on applying for Medicaid, Medicare and Harris Health-Gold Care insurance.
Our Mental Health section provides listings of low-cost mental health clinics as well as resources for psychiatric emergencies.
Our Housing resources include information about local housing programs, rooming houses, homeless shelters and apartment locators.
The Food section offers information on local food pantries, applying for SNAP (formerly food stamps), W.I.C. and other nutrition-related resources.
Our Employment resources will provide job seekers with referrals to local employment offices, resources to strengthen resumes, job fairs, and business ideas.
In the Transportation section, you will find resources that cater medical, homeless and senior transportation.
The Fresh Start section offers a number of resources for individuals who were formerly incarcerated. Medical, mental, housing and employment resources can be found here.
